  • Director of Supply Chain

    Living Proof is seeking a director-level executive to manage all facets of the supply chain.  This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the company meets its obligations to all of its customers and finds ways to operate in the most cost efficient manner.


    Demand Planning & Inventory Management

    • Manage a comprehensive process/system for demand planning for production of all skus and shipments across multiple channels of distribution.
    • Create monthly production schedules and generate required POs for contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers.  Includes weekly communications/updated with each manufacture on production activities.
    • Manage SKU level inventories to minimize cash investment while ensuring 100% fill rates to retailers.

    Warehouse and Distribution

    • Manage all aspects of warehousing and distribution for all skus within Living Proof (including kits and special promotions)
    • Responsible for execution of distribution to all customers/channels

    Project Management

    • Responsible for developing timetables for Living Proof programs (new product launches, special packages, etc.) and work with cross functional teams to assure dates are tracked and achieved.  Also manage all internal systems and tracking and assign SKUs, UPCs and create Bill of Materials in SAP.
    • Responsible for products moving from R&D (tech transfer), to production (fill) and finally into the warehouse/distribution.
    • Develop/manage (with the help of R&D) a strong, cost efficient and flexible source of supply for the proprietary active ingredients in Living Proof products.

    Cost Management

    • Determine ways to reduce the overall cost across the entire Supply Chain including  activities within manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.
    • 10+  years of experience in Supply Chain Management preferably with a consumer products company.  Experience with a company  that works in a highly SKU intensive industry is required.
    • Proven track record and experience in the following areas:
      • Forecasting/demand planning
      • Cost management and negotiation
      • Direct interaction with manufacturers on timetables for all sku production

  • Technical Package Development Engineer

    The Technical Package Development Engineer will design, execute and validate the design of new and re-designed components thru development and 1st production. In this position, you will evaluate current and potential external package/product manufacturing processes, qualify and assess suppliers, implement preventive quality methods and lead timely corrective actions. This candidate provides technical hands on knowledge to support the creation of a fully functional internal packaging lab

    • Responsible for translating new innovations and marketing concepts into technically industrialized launches
    • Investigate and troubleshoot technical concerns and drive solutions to consumer packaging complaints and non-conformance issues. Provide comprehensive analysis and timely recommendations.
    • Support Packaging Department Initiative to manage all aspects of the development process
    • Complete Technical Profiles and Package Feasibility Studies for all programs
    • Develop and Issue all Specifications for new and existing programs. Define specifications, defect ranges and design criteria to facilitate an optimized process flow from component manufacture thru fill and assembly.

    This Product Development Process Engineer is an on-site position at our Cambridge, MA office.

    • Independently work to continuously optimize batch manufacturing processes to reduce out-of spec incidences and in-market product issues.
    • Troubleshoot and interpret product manufacturing issues including identifying root cause and recommending corrective action steps to ensure uninterrupted production.
    • Establish continuity of batch processes between like product forms and different manufacturing facilities.
    • Ensure compliance of all manufacturing facilities to agreed standard operating procedures.

    This Product Development Chemist is an on-site position at our Cambridge, MA office.

    • Formulate hair care products and conduct appropriate product performance and stability experiments to meet objectives outlined in project profiles.
    • Ensure product physical stability, efficacy, consumer appeal, processing capabilities, package compatibility, and cost effectiveness.

  • Financial Analyst

    This Financial Analyst position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products.  The Financial Analyst creates and maintains forecast models by customer, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, supply chain, operations and finance.  This position reports to the Director of FP&A.

    • Support continued growth of our products by playing a key role in forecasting and analyzing sales across retail, salon, and e-commerce channels.
    • Responsible for actualizing monthly retail & shipment sales.
    • Prepare and load all retail and shipment sales data into our planning and analytics system.
    • Use and maintain the planning and analytics software as the primary forecasting system tool.

  • Regional Sales/ Education Director for International

    The Regional Director Salon Sales & Education will report to VP of International Sales to grow salon business through Living Proof Education and go to market sales strategies. This Director works closely with all other departments and field sales to create and execute the most relevant education programs for our partners. Regional territory is Europe.  They will be responsible for managing the European Education team, salon education, and work closely with distributors and brand managers and conducting & organizing regional events that are custom fit to the needs of various markets.  Inspire stylists, help salons & distributors grow and mentor education team.


    Creation/ Implementation of education content- collaborate and adapt content to fit the market needed in the  region  while preserving brand integrity.  Work closely with marketing & PD to build the best strategies for product launches and ongoing initiative. Work with Living Proof Marketing and Distributors to ensure brand positioning and creation of marketing pieces used in the field.

  • Brand Marketing Manager

    Living Proof is seeking a Brand Manager. This position is responsible for working with the team on new product development and product launch processes, packaging development and coordination with manufacturing, concept development, competitive analysis, timeline management, consumer testing, pricing strategy, promotional strategy, education, public relations and collateral support.

    • New Product Development: Direct product development on the creation of new SKUs within our product portfolio, including overall market and competitive review, concept development, benchmark review and recommendation, claims analysis, recommended usage, sizing, pricing and packaging. Within the team, oversee timeline management to ensure that all key dates are met in the launch of the new product. Test and review each submission from product development and give iterative feedback. Work with the test salon as needed to evaluate trial of product on consumers. Participate in and run, as needed, the cross functional launch teams. Oversee all comp development of new products including development, photography, and providing materials to PR agencies and retail partners.
    • Marketing Plan: Oversee various marketing plan elements including: (1) Sampling: help determine sampling plans and execute packaging and artwork; (2) In Store Events: coordinate with Retail Marketing and Sales Teams to make sure they have necessary resources to hold in-store events such as posters, PR coverage, samples, and gift bags; (3) Merchandising: work with Retail Marketing to determine retailer merchandising layouts (4) Education: ensure education team has all relevant information for upcoming product launches to create education materials; (5) Digital: review all product related copy on website.

    Living Proof is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated freelance Copywriter.  The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the fast-paced beauty and/or publishing industry, and possess exceptionally strong writing, fact-checking, proofing and time-management skills. This team member will work closely with the Marketing Team to create lively yet informative, consistently on-brand copy for all primary brand needs including (but not limited to) new products, product campaigns, presentations, visual merchandising, mailers, fact sheets, event collateral, digital and content marketing. Candidate must be able to work on-site at Living Proof’s Cambridge, MA office. The position is for 20 hours a week.


    The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

    • Ensuring consistency and adherence to Living Proof copy standards
    • Writing informative, brand-right descriptions and compelling marketing copy across brand website, social media, retailer merchandise, education materials, etc)
